FC 27 Ted Lasso Guide: How to Play AFC Richmond Women & Get All Masterclass Rewards

Ted Lasso and AFC Richmond are back in FC 27, and this time the playable team is AFC Richmond Women — the Lady Greyhounds — not the men‘s squad from FIFA 23. The crossover covers Kick Off, Career Mode, and Ultimate Team, with Ted himself available as a selectable manager. I’ve been looking through the squad and the Masterclass objectives, and here‘s how to find the team, how to use Ted, and how to unlock every reward.

FC 27 Ted Lasso: Release Date & Availability

EA’s official announcement says players can “play EA Sports FC 27 today,” which suggests the content is live. However, Metro reports that EA tied the crossover to Season 2, expected to arrive on October 22. If you wanna realize more kick here Ted Lasso: Release Availability to get more official information.

If you don‘t see AFC Richmond Women under Women’s Rest of World yet, you may need to wait for the Season 2 rollout.

One important distinction: this is AFC Richmond Women, not the FIFA 23 men‘s team. Characters like Jamie Tartt, Roy Kent, and Dani Rojas are not available as playable players in FC 27, and the women’s team is not available as FUT player items. The FUT rewards are limited to manager items, kits, and stadium cosmetics.

FC 27 Ted Lasso: Where to Find AFC Richmond Women

AFC Richmond Women sit under Women’s Teams → Rest of World → Women‘s ROW. Here’s the exact path if you want to play a quick match with them:

• Open Kick Off and go to Classic Match
• Switch the toggle from Men’s Teams to Women‘s Teams
• Select Rest of World as the country/region
• Find AFC Richmond in the Women’s ROW league group

The team is rated 3.5 stars with an overall squad rating of 74 (77 Attack, 71 Midfield, 75 Defence). Nelson Road also returns as a playable stadium.

The squad includes all the main characters from the show, led by Jay at 80 OVR. Davis (79) and El Sherif (78) are the other standout players. Here’s the full roster:

You can also use AFC Richmond Women in Career Mode and Online Seasons. For a quick match, the Kick Off path above is the fastest way in.

FC 27 Ted Lasso: How to Manage as Ted in Career Mode

In Manager Career, you can select Ted Lasso as your manager. When setting up your career:

• Gender: Women’s Teams
• Country: Rest of World

Ted Lasso appears on the third row of available managers

Selecting Ted doesn‘t lock you to AFC Richmond. Once he’s your manager, you can change clubs and use him elsewhere. The mode includes social media stories, cutscenes, touchline interactions, and themed Challenges tied to the show.

FC 27 Ted Lasso: All 6 Masterclass Tasks & Rewards

In Ultimate Team, open Objectives → Milestones → Ted Lasso‘s Masterclass. There are six tasks, and all rewards are untradeable.

Task	Requirement	Reward
Be a Goldfish	Play 3 matches with at least 2 USA players in your starting 11	AFC Richmond Tifo
Barbecue Sauce	Score 5 goals with at least 1 Premier League and 1 Women's Super League player in your starting 11	AFC Richmond Third Kit
Football is Life	Play 1 match in any FUT mode	AFC Richmond Away Kit
Unselfish Play	Assist 4 goals in any FUT mode	AFC Richmond Badge
Biscuits with the Boss	Build 20+ Chemistry in your squad	Coach Beard Manager
Believe	Win 1 match in any FUT mode	AFC Richmond Home Kit

Completing all six unlocks the group reward: T. Lasso Manager (Untradeable) — a gold manager card with Ted’s portrait.

My suggested combined route: keep two US players in your starting XI, plus one Premier League player and one Women‘s Super League player, while maintaining 20+ chemistry. Play three full matches, get at least one win, and accumulate five goals and four assists. These totals can overlap across tasks — three matches is a practical target, not a guarantee if you miss the goals or assists. Use Squad Battles if you prefer playing against the AI.

Conclusion

The Ted Lasso crossover gives you three ways to play: Kick Off for a quick match with AFC Richmond Women, Career Mode to manage the Lady Greyhounds as Ted, and Ultimate Team for the Masterclass objectives and rewards. The team is rated 3.5 stars, Jay leads at 80 OVR, and the full Masterclass set rewards you with a Ted Lasso manager card, Coach Beard, and Richmond-themed cosmetics.
