The Wuthering Waves Version 3.7 Preview Special Broadcast has aired on September 19, 2026, at 8:00 PM(UTC+8). According to the schedule, version 3.7 is going to launch on September 30, 2026, and will continue the Xuanfang storyline in Mengzhou with new characters, story content, events, Echoes, and System improvements. Special program highlighted the debut of Hsin and Suoming, which would be available during the first and second phase session in new patch. New Story and Exploration
Version 3.7 introduces Chapter IV, Act IV: “Simulacrum of the Heart.” The story takes players deeper into the Simulacrum Nexus of Mengzhou as the Xuanfang arc moves toward its conclusion and climax.
A new exploration feature called “Inner Threshold” will be added. The livestream also previewed two exploration quests: “Tales from the Capsule: Ashen Fox” and “Days Without Number” and one Tales Quest “Moonlike Heart, Mortal Longing”. The latter will reveal Xuanqing’s tumultuous life journey, and we shall see the tale story fully in voice-based dialogue, which is quite a high standard.
New Resonators
Hsin
Hsin is a new five-star Electro Resonator who uses a Rectifier. Her kit is built around two different modes.
In Electro Flare Mode, Hsin functions as a powerful Electro Flare main DPS. She can apply Electro Flare effects to enemies, build special stacks, and consume those stacks to deal heavy damage. In Unison Mode, Hsin becomes a support and sub-DPS character. Her Unison effect allows the incoming and outgoing Resonators to trigger their Intro and Outro Skills at the same time. This makes her especially useful for quick-swap teams. Hsin also gains additional effects when teamed with Electro Rover.
Hsin has three combat animations and two feature models, even turning into a fox. When activating his ultimate ability, Hsin transforms into her new form, changing from red to a pale gold-white colour. It is also worth noting that Hsin’s signature weapon - Blooming Jadehaven also has two major forms.
Suoming
Suoming is a five-star Electro Sword Resonator. She can deal significant Basic Attack damage while also providing Electro support through the Unison effect.
Her combat style has three stages. By using Basic Attacks, Suoming fills her Forte Gauge and advances through Deep Mind and Calamity Mind. Her damage and abilities become stronger at higher stages.
After using her Resonance Liberation, Suoming can grant the Unison effect to the team. This allows her Outro Skill and the incoming ally’s Intro Skill to activate together, while also increasing the incoming ally’s Electro damage.

Version 3.7 provides 20 free login pulls in total.
The Gifts of Waking Moon event gives five Radiant Tides and five Lustrous Tides. The Gifts of Singing Drizzle event provides another ten Radiant Tides. In total, players can receive 15 limited pulls and five standard pulls.

Players can use Moonlit Rings to unlock milestone rewards, including a five-star Resonator selector featuring Carlotta, Shorekeeper, and Phoebe. Other rewards include a premium Hsin accessory and a Rover accessory featuring Abby.
New Echoes and WuWa Tappo
Several new Echoes will be added in Version 3.7. Livestream specifically mention their names: Formrender, Soulfrayer, Skywatch Lancer, Bloomburst Puppet, and Jade Nether Serpent. It counts six new Echoes in total, including additional Mengzhou Echoes.
The livestream also teased WuWa Tappo, a desktop companion collaboration authorized by Irox Games, the creator of Bongo Cat. Players will be able to place Wuthering Waves characters on their desktop as free virtual pets.
Quality Optimization
Version 3.7 also introduces several quality-of-life improvements:
- Story Replay for previously released story quests and events
- Echoes with the same name and attribute can stack in the inventory
- More camera controls, including weather, wind, and lighting settings
- A redesigned party screen with 2D and 3D display options
- Client resource downloads divided into SD, HD, and UHD tiers
