If you are pulling Iuno during her rerun or going for Moongazer's Sigil as well, you may need a few extra Lunites to finish your pulls. You can top up Wuthering Waves through BuffBuff and get back to building your Iuno team without slowing down your banner plans.
Iuno Character Overview
| Rarity | 5-star | |
| Element | Aero | |
| Weapon | Gauntlet |
Wuthering Waves Iuno is a 5-star Aero Gauntlets Resonator who can work as a Main DPS, Hybrid, or buffer depending on the team. Her kit revolves around Lunar Cycle and Sentience, which let her switch between Moonring and Moonbow attacks while building toward stronger damage, healing, and team support. She is especially useful in Heavy Attack teams because her Outro Skill gives the incoming Resonator 50% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification for 14 seconds.
The Lunar Cycle has two states, Half Moon and New Moon. Half Moon helps Iuno restore Sentience, while New Moon lets her use enhanced Moonbow attacks that consume Sentience for higher damage, extra Concerto Energy, and team healing. Iuno can hold up to 100 Sentience, which she gains from her Intro Skill, Resonance Liberation, Closing Refrain, and other parts of her kit.
Once she fills her Concerto Energy, Iuno can use Absolute Fullness to create a Full Moon Domain that restores HP and Stamina while supporting the team through Blessing of the Wan Light stacks. This mix of personal damage, healing, Stamina recovery, Shields, and Heavy Attack support is what makes her valuable as an on-field carry and as a Hybrid unit supporting another DPS.

Iuno Skills and Kit
Iuno's kit is all about Lunar Cycle, which lets her switch from Moonring attacks into her stronger Moonbow state. She builds a resource called Sentience, then spends it on enhanced attacks that deal more damage and generate Concerto Energy, along with restoring HP to the team.
Basic Attack
The best Iuno build performs up to three consecutive Aero attacks with her Moonring. Once she enters her enhanced Moonbow state, her Basic Attacks become stronger and consume Sentience while contributing more to her damage rotation.
Resonance Skill
Iuno's Resonance Skill helps her enter and progress through the Lunar Cycle. Closing Refrain restores Sentience and is used near the start of Iuno's rotation, while Arc Beyond the Edge becomes available during her Moonbow state and serves as one of her main damage skills.
Resonance Liberation
Her Resonance Liberation deals Aero DMG, immediately enters Lunar Cycle, and restores 60 Sentience. It also works well as an animation cancel during her setup, which helps Iuno move into her main damage sequence faster.
Forte Circuit
Iuno's Forte Circuit manages Sentience, which can hold up to 100 points. After entering Lunar Cycle, she can use Flux to access her stronger Moonbow attacks, then spend Sentience through enhanced Basic Attacks and Arc Beyond the Edge.
Her enhanced attacks also restore some team HP and generate extra Concerto Energy. This is why the Forte Circuit sits at the center of both her Hybrid and Main DPS rotations.
Intro Skill – Illuminated Manifestation
Iuno's Intro Skill deals Aero DMG and gives her 40 Sentience, which makes it one of her quickest ways to start building resources after switching in. Her Derivation passive also gives her five stacks of Blessing of the Wan Light when she uses her Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation.
Outro Skill – From Gloom to Gleam
Iuno's Outro Skill deals Aero DMG and gives the incoming Resonator 50% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification for 14 seconds. The buff ends early if that Resonator leaves the field, so it is best passed directly to the team's Heavy Attack carry.
Inherent Skills
Waxing Ascent gives Iuno WuWa build a small Shield whenever she uses attacks, skills, her Liberation, or Intro Skill. The Shield itself is modest, but it is important because it can repeatedly activate effects from Crown of Valor and Moongazer's Sigil.
Derivation grants five Blessing of the Wan Light stacks after Iuno uses her Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation. These stacks increase her own damage during her active window and form another important part of her full rotation.
Iuno Skill Priority
Iuno's leveling order changes a bit depending on whether you use her as a Main DPS or a Hybrid buffer.
Main DPS Iuno Skill Priority
Forte Circuit > Resonance Liberation > Basic Attack > Resonance Skill > Intro Skill
Forte Circuit takes priority because most of Iuno's enhanced Lunar Cycle mechanics run through it. Resonance Liberation follows since a large share of her personal output counts as Liberation DMG, while Moonbow Basic Attacks become more important when she stays on-field for a full damage rotation.
Hybrid Iuno Skill Priority
Forte Circuit > Resonance Liberation > Intro Skill > Resonance Skill > Basic Attack
Hybrid Iuno spends much less time performing full Moonbow attack strings, so Basic Attack drops to the bottom. Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation still deserve the bulk of your materials because they cover the strongest parts of her damage, healing, resource generation, and rotation.
If resources are tight, Hybrid Iuno does not need every talent maxed immediately. Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation give the clearest return first.
Iuno Materials
You will need Sliverglow Bloom, Abyssal Husk, Polygon Cores, and Cadence materials for a complete Wuthering Waves Iuno build.
If you are pre-farming for her rerun, Sliverglow Bloom and Abyssal Husk are the main Ascension materials to collect first.
Iuno Ascension Materials
| Material | Total |
| 60 | |
| 46 | |
| 4 | |
| 12 | |
| 12 | |
| 4 | |
| 170,000 |
Sliverglow Bloom can be collected around the Asphodel Barrens. Abyssal Husk drops from the Lady of the Sea boss. Polygon Cores come from various Tacet Discord enemies and can also be obtained through other sources such as Forgery Challenges and Synthesis.
Iuno Forte Materials
You need the following Iuno materials for a complete Forte tree upgrade:
| Material | Total |
| 25 | |
| 28 | |
| 55 | |
| 67 | |
| 25 | |
| 28 | |
| 40 | |
| 57 | |
| 26 | |
| 2,030,000 |
The Cadence series comes from Gauntlet Forgery Challenges, with Abyss of Sacrifice in Rinascita being a convenient farming option since its rewards can also include Polygon Cores. The Netherworld's Stare is Iuno's weekly boss material and drops from Hecate, so it is crucial to farm early if you plan to take her important skills to higher levels.
Iuno Best Weapons
Iuno wants CRIT, ATK, and bonuses that improve Resonance Liberation DMG. A large part of her New Moon damage is classified as Liberation DMG, which makes weapons with Liberation-specific effects much stronger on her than their wording may initially suggest.
Moongazer's Sigil
Base ATK: 500 | CRIT Rate: 36%
Moongazer's Sigil is Iuno's best weapon for both Main DPS and Hybrid builds. At R1, it gives 12% ATK, while using an Intro Skill or Resonance Liberation adds 20% Resonance Liberation DMG for 15 seconds.
Its strongest effect activates whenever Iuno gains a Shield. Each stack allows her Liberation DMG to ignore 7.2% DEF, up to five stacks for a total of 36% DEF Ignore. Her Waxing Ascent passive repeatedly creates small personal Shields, so she can maintain this effect naturally during combat.
Verity's Handle
ATK: 587 | CRIT Rate: 24.3%
Verity's Handle is the strongest alternative Iuno weapon. It provides a 12% Attribute DMG Bonus. After casting Resonance Liberation, the wielder receives a 48% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus for 8 seconds. Each Resonance Skill cast adds another 5 seconds to the buff duration, with up to three extensions.
Blazing Justice
ATK: 588 | CRIT DMG: 48.6%
Blazing Justice is another strong 5-star stat stick, which raises ATK by 12%. After using a Basic Attack, the wielder gains an effect for 6 seconds that allows their damage to ignore 8% of the enemy's DEF and increases Spectro Frazzle DMG by 50%. Triggering the effect again refreshes its duration.
Iuno F2P Weapons
Celestial Spiral is a solid 4-star option for Iuno, providing both ATK and Resonance Energy after she uses her Resonance Skill. The extra Energy is particularly useful for Hybrid builds, where it can make her Resonance Liberation easier to maintain each rotation.
For a completely craftable option, Legend of Drunken Hero is also an accessible Iuno F2P weapon choice. It provides useful ATK and gains additional ATK stacks when Iuno damages enemies affected by Negative Statuses, making it stronger in teams that can consistently apply them.
F2P players using Iuno as a Hybrid buffer do not need to chase Moongazer's Sigil just to make her support kit work. Her signature becomes much more appealing when personal damage matters, especially if you plan to run Iuno as the team's Main DPS.
Pro Tip: Moongazer's Sigil is also rerunning alongside Iuno in Version 3.7 Phase 1. If you are aiming for S0R1, check how many weapon pulls you are actually missing before spending. BuffBuff WuWa top-ups can help cover the last stretch without buying more Lunites than your banner plan needs.
Iuno Best Echo Sets
Crown of Valor
Crown of Valor is the best Iuno Echo set for damage-focused Iuno and the default choice for her Main DPS build.
Whenever the wearer receives a Shield, the set increases ATK by 6% and CRIT DMG by 4% for four seconds, stacking five times. Iuno's Waxing Ascent keeps giving her a small Shield whenever she performs attacks or skills, which allows her to reach the full 30% ATK and 20% CRIT DMG bonus with little extra setup.
For the remaining 2-piece bonus, an Aero DMG set such as Sierra Gale, Gusts of Welkin, Windward Pilgrimage, or Sound of True Name works well. ATK and Energy-oriented 2-piece options can also be used when their substats are better.
Best Main Echo: Lady of the Sea
Lady of the Sea is the cleanest main Echo for Crown of Valor Iuno. Its equipped effect provides 12% Aero DMG Bonus and 12% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus, both of which directly improve the damage Iuno actually deals.
The summon is also easy to fit into her rotation, so you do not have to distort her attack sequence just to activate an Echo buff.
Moonlit Clouds
Moonlit Clouds is the support-focused alternative for Hybrid Iuno. It gives 10% Energy Regen and, after her Outro, grants 22.5% ATK to the next Resonator for 15 seconds.
This is useful when Iuno's main job is preparing a Heavy Attack DPS for their burst window. Run Impermanence Heronas the main Echo to add another DMG buff to the incoming character while helping Iuno recover Energy.
Crown of Valor still gives Iuno much better personal damage. Moonlit Clouds makes more sense when you are sacrificing some of that output to strengthen your carry.
Iuno Best Echo Stats
Use the standard 4-3-3-1-1 setup for the Iuno build.
| Echo Cost | Main Stat |
| 4-Cost | CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG |
| 3-Cost | Aero DMG Bonus |
| 3-Cost | Aero DMG Bonus / ATK% |
| 1-Cost | ATK% |
| 1-Cost | ATK% |
With Moongazer's Sigil providing 36% CRIT Rate, a CRIT DMG 4-Cost is usually easier to balance. Without a CRIT weapon, CRIT Rate often becomes the safer choice.
Iuno Substat Priority
Energy Regen until comfortable > CRIT Rate = CRIT DMG > Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus ≥ ATK% > Flat ATK
Hybrid Iuno build generally wants around 120-130% Energy Regen because she needs her Liberation reliably each rotation. Main DPS Iuno build can operate much closer to base Energy Regen when the team feeds her enough Energy and her rotation is set up correctly.
Recommended Endgame Stats
| Stat | Target |
| ATK | 1,800-2,400+ |
| CRIT Rate | 65-80%+ |
| CRIT DMG | 215-260%+ |
| Energy Regen | 120-130%+ Hybrid / around 100% DPS |
| Aero DMG Bonus | 40-70%+ |
Treat these as healthy targets instead of strict breakpoints. An Iuno build in WuWa with a bit lower CRIT but better Liberation DMG and ATK rolls can still perform better in practice.
Iuno Best Teams
Iuno works best either as a Hybrid support for Heavy Attack carries or as the Main DPS with teammates who buff her Liberation-heavy damage. Her 50% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification makes her valuable to characters that rely on Heavy Attacks.
This is one of the strongest current Hybrid Iuno teams. Jingran benefits from Iuno's Heavy Attack amplification and Shield-related mechanics. Shorekeeper provides healing, CRIT buffs, and general team support. Use Iuno before Jingran, so her Outro buff goes directly to him.
Augusta is another strong Iuno team for Hybrid setup because a large portion of her damage comes from Heavy Attacks. She can make full use of Iuno's Outro while also building Blessing of the Wan Light stacks through her Shield interactions. Shorekeeper completes the lineup with healing and universal buffs.
For Main DPS, Iuno, Lynae and Mornye form a strong WuWa Iuno team composition. Lynae provides All DMG and Resonance Liberation amplification that fits Iuno's damage profile. Mornye brings further teamwide amplification and has additional synergy with Lynae's Tune mechanics.
Ciaccona is a useful alternative when Lynae is unavailable, as she offers Aero-focused support and additional damage. Shorekeeper keeps the team comfortable while supplying general buffs that benefit both Iuno and Ciaccona.
Iuno F2P Team
Jianxin's Outro can amplify Iuno's Resonance Liberation DMG. Verina provides healing and ATK buffs, along with general DMG amplification with little field time. It is a workable budget setup, though Iuno's Main DPS performance is much stronger with premium supports such as Lynae.
Iuno Rotation
Iuno's rotation focuses on entering Lunar Cycle, building and spending Sentience through Moonbow attacks, then reaching Absolute Fullness before swapping. Hybrid teams want a quicker rotation so Iuno can pass her 50% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification to the main carry.
Hybrid Iuno Rotation
Intro Skill → Closing Refrain → Resonance Liberation → Flux: Moonbow → Moonbow Attacks → Arc Beyond the Edge → Absolute Fullness → Outro Skill
Main DPS Iuno Rotation
Intro Skill → Closing Refrain → Flux: Moonbow → Moonbow Basic Attacks → Arc Beyond the Edge → Resonance Liberation → Moonbow Attacks → Arc Beyond the Edge → Absolute Fullness → Outro Skill
For Hybrid Iuno, swap directly to your Heavy Attack DPS after her Outro so the intended carry receives the amplification.
Iuno Resonance Chains
Iuno is already strong at S0, while her Resonance Chains improve her personal damage and team buffs. Take a quick look at what each Sequence provides:
| Resonance Chain | Effect |
| S1 | Increases Iuno's ATK by 40% during Lunar Cycle and restores 1 Resonance Energy per second inside Full Moon Domain. Arc Beyond the Edge and Absolute Fullness also gain interruption immunity. |
| S2 | Team members at 10 Blessing of the Wan Light stacks gain an additional 40% All DMG Amplification. |
| S3 | Amplifies Moonbow Basic Attack and Arc Beyond the Edge, along with Moonbow Dodge Counter DMG by 65% during Lunar Cycle. It also makes her Moonbow combos smoother when using Arc Beyond the Edge. |
| S4 | Using Absolute Fullness grants all team members a Shield equal to 160% of Iuno's ATK for 30s. |
| S5 | Gives Iuno a straightforward 20% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus. |
| S6 | Increases Absolute Fullness's DMG multiplier by 1600%. After using it, Iuno re-enters New Moon with 100 Sentience and resets both Arc Beyond the Edge charges, which extends her DPS window. |
For most players, S0 is enough, especially when Iuno is used as a Hybrid support. S2 is the notable team-focused stopping point, while S3 and S6 lean much more toward improving Iuno's own damage.
Is Iuno Worth Pulling?
Iuno is worth pulling if you use Heavy Attack-focused DPS characters, especially Jingran or Augusta. Her 50% Heavy Attack DMG Amplification, personal damage, healing, and other utility make her a strong Hybrid teammate, while newer supports such as Lynae also allow Iuno to perform well as a Main DPS.
However, she isn't an essential pull for every account. If you don't play Heavy Attack teams and already have enough damage dealers, your Astrite may have more value elsewhere in the packed Version 3.7 banner lineup. Iuno makes the most sense for players who can immediately use her Heavy Attack support or want to build her as an Aero carry.
Conclusion
Iuno is a flexible hybrid Resonator in Wuthering Waves 3.7. She can take a short field window to heal, deal damage, and hand a huge Heavy Attack buff to Jingran, Augusta, or Jiyan. In contrast, players with Lynae and the right support lineup can build Iuno herself as a strong on-field carry.
For most accounts, Moongazer's Sigil + Crown of Valor + Lady of the Sea is the safest all-purpose WuWa Iuno build. Prioritize CRIT, enough Energy Regen for your rotation, and Resonance Liberation DMG, then choose teammates based on whether Iuno is supporting someone else or taking the main damage slot.
With Iuno and Moongazer's Sigil available again in Version 3.7, this is also a good time to finish an Iuno team you skipped during her earlier banners. If your Astrite stash is a few pulls short, top up Wuthering Waves through BuffBuff and make the remaining pulls count before her current banner leaves.
