FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 1: Squad, Best Cards & Budget Picks

FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 1 is out in packs right now. You have until October 30, 2026, to pack them. After that, you can still buy them on the Transfer Market.

The big names here are Raphinha (90 CAM), Cristiano Ronaldo (89 LW), and Gianfranco Zola (89 ST). I've broken down the full squad, how to actually use the best cards, and the cheap hidden gems you can grab if you don't have millions of coins.

Before you spend millions on Ronaldo or Raphinha, you might want to secure your defense first. Take a look at our FC 27 Best Goalkeepers guide to find the best keepers to save you when the attack fails.

What Is Ultimate Scream in FC 27?

It's FC 27's Halloween event. EA took some familiar players and gave them weird position changes. Ronaldo is a LW now. Stam is a CDM. Szoboszlai is a RB.

There is also a temporary boost coming on November 24. For one week (the Beaver Moon), every Scream card gets one random face stat boosted to 99, and they get full chemistry in their correct position. But don't buy a card just for that one week. It's a fun bonus, not a reason to waste your coins.

FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 1: Full Squad List

Looking at this 17-player squad, EA made some bold choices. Ronaldo at LW and Stam at CDM feels totally different from their base icons. But the market prices are insane right now. Here is the full list with base stats (before chemistry). All prices are from October 23, 2026. Please double-check the live market before you buy.

FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 1: Best Cards to Use

I've looked at the stats, and the top end of this squad is no joke. But you need to know how to use them.

Raphinha (90 CAM) — The Most Complete Attacker

Raphinha has 93 PAC, 90 PAS, and 89 DRI. In my view, he is the best card here. He can dribble through the middle, play the final pass, or run into space. His Technical+ PlayStyle and 5-star weak foot make him so reliable in tight areas. How to use him: Play him as the link between midfield and attack. When a defender rushes him, he has the passing to release a runner. When they back off, his 93 pace lets him burst forward.

Cristiano Ronaldo (89 LW) — A Striker Playing on the Wing

Ronaldo has 90 PAC, 89 SHO, and 87 DRI, plus 5-star skills and a 5-star weak foot. His Rapid+ PlayStyle makes him so fast off the mark. How to use him: Don't play him like a normal winger who hugs the line. He feels much better when you move him inside toward the box. If you switch him to ST in-game, he becomes an absolute monster.

Gianfranco Zola (89 ST) — The Agile Playmaker

Zola has 90 DRI, 89 SHO, and 87 PAS. He is not the biggest striker (67 PHY), but his close control is unreal. His Technical+ PlayStyle makes him glide past defenders in the box. How to use him: Do not use him as a target man to hold up the ball. He works best in a two-striker formation, playing quick one-twos with a partner. Use his 88 PAC to get in behind, but rely on his dribbling to create the shooting angle. He will get pushed off the ball if you try to wrestle with Van Dijk, so keep the ball on the ground.

Salma Paralluelo (88 ST) — The Fastest Card in the Squad

Paralluelo has 94 PAC, the fastest here. She also has 86 SHO and 86 DRI, with Gamechanger+. How to use her: She is a pure runner. Don't expect her to build up play. Pair her with a CAM who can release the ball early. Trigger her run, and if the pass arrives, she will punish any high defensive line.

Jaap Stam (88 CDM) — A Defensive Wall

Stam has 90 DEF and 89 PHY with 85 PAC. His Jockey+ PlayStyle makes him a brick wall in duels. How to use him: At CDM, he is a destroyer. Pair him with a passer (like Çalhanoğlu) so he doesn't have to dictate play. His passing is a bit clunky, so keep it simple. If you prefer, you can just start him at CB.

FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 1: Budget Picks

Not everyone can afford a 5.89M Raphinha or a 10.5M Ronaldo. If you are like me and don't want to spend real money, here are the cards under 250K that actually perform.

Fabinho (87 CB) — 215K

Fabinho has 87 DEF and 89 PHY at CB. His 78 PAC is slow, but for 215K, he is a solid wall if you need a physical defender who can also play CDM.

Kondogbia (86 CB) — 200K

Kondogbia gives you 86 DEF and 88 PHY for 200K. He is slow (77 PAC), so I would only use him in a low block or as a wide CB in a back three. Don't expect him to catch Mbappé.

Tahith Chong (85 RM) — 195K

Chong has 89 PAC and 87 DRI. He is a pure direct runner on the right. Don't expect him to score (81 SHO), but he can stretch defenses and create space for your other attackers.

FC 27 Ultimate Scream: Token Store, SBCs & Objectives

You earn Scream Tokens by completing themed Objectives over the two weeks. The Token Store stays open for one extra week, so you don't need to rush. Here is the complete list of rewards and their exact Token costs:

My advice: Don't waste your Tokens on the low-rated Gold Player Packs. From the two currently available objective groups (Phantom Playgrounds and Puzzle SBCs), you can earn a total of 730 Tokens. If your squad has a clear weakness, save up for the Guarantee Pack (800 Tokens). You will need to grab a few more Tokens from Flash Rush or Ghoul Fest to afford it, but the chance at Ronaldo or Raphinha is worth it. If you already have a good team, the Hero cards (Jill Scott or Verón) or the Wicked Winger Evolution are much better long-term investments. Just remember: Verón costs 900 Tokens, so you will need to save your daily rewards carefully.

Also, if you are a fan of the old-school look, EA has brought back classic Ultimate Scream designs. You can outfit your cards with retro Cosmetic Evolution shells from FUT 17, 19, and 20. These are available for a limited time in the Token Store and the Cosmetics tab. Check out the Official Post here for a closer look.

Is FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 1 Worth It?

Worth it for:

• Players who need an elite CAM. Raphinha is the best attacker in this squad. If you have the coins, get him.
• Fans of Ronaldo. His 89 LW card is a great scorer if you move him inside.
• Budget players who need a physical defender. Fabinho and Kondogbia cost under 250K and do a solid job.

Skip it for:

• Players who already have a top-tier LW. Ronaldo's 10.5M price tag is only worth it if you build your entire attack around him.
• Players expecting the Beaver Moon boost to be permanent. It is only seven days. Don't buy a card you won't use in November.

Conclusion

FC 27 Ultimate Scream Team 1 has some elite cards (Raphinha, Ronaldo), but the real value is in the budget defenders (Fabinho, Kondogbia). If you want to build around a specific player, make sure you have enough coins before the event ends.
