Aha Build: Best Relics, Light Cones & Elation Teams | HSR 4.7
2026-11-02

Aeon ★ Aha is the first Aeon you can play in Honkai: Star Rail. She arrives with Version 4.7 as a limited 5-star Quantum character on the Path of Elation. She runs on Wishpower in place of Energy. She marks one ally as her Elation carry and speeds up the Aha Instant that Elation teams depend on. Her build leans on SPD more than any damage stat, so Light Cone and Planar Ornament choices matter early. This HSR Aha build guide covers her kit, Light Cones, Relics, stat targets, teams, and Eidolon plans, all based on beta data that may shift at launch.
Pro Tip: Aha's banner opens with Version 4.7 next to several Elation reruns, so Stellar Jade goes quickly. Top up your HSR Stellar Jade through BuffBuff at the best rates and have your pulls ready before the patch starts.
Aha Character Overview
| Rarity | 5-star | |
| Element | Quantum | |
| Path | Elation |
Aeon ★ Aha is a 5-star Quantum Elation character that strengthens characters who follow the Path of Elation. Aha's presence upgrades the team's existing Elation mechanics, while Skill selects an ally to receive additional offensive benefits.
The main attraction is Faces of Elation, a special state that improves the team's Elation performance and unlocks enhanced versions of familiar resources. Aha also contributes Quantum damage, Follow-Up Attacks, and additional damage based on what teammates accomplish during Aha Instant.
Unlike most HSR characters, Aha doesn't rely on a conventional Energy-based Ultimate. Instead, the entire team helps build Wishpower, which makes turn order and party synergy especially important.
Aha Skills and Kit
Basic ATK – Starfrost, Showtime
Aha strikes a single opponent with Quantum Elation DMG. Although the attack itself is simple, it helps accumulate 1 Wishpower without consuming Skill Points.
Skill – This Emanator Was Certified by Aha
Aha designates one teammate as the Emanator of Elation and follows up with a Quantum attack that hits every enemy.
The selected ally gains 20% Elation and helps Aha generate Wishpower at the beginning of their turns. The designation remains active until Aha chooses someone else.
An additional Trace enhances this ability by dealing extra Elation damage and restoring a Skill Point, which makes it easier to support teammates without heavily draining the party's resources.
Ultimate – Aha! Let There Be Laughter
When enough Wishpower is available, Aha enters Faces of Elation for three turns and unleashes a large AoE Quantum Elation attack followed by five additional hits against random targets.
This state upgrades the party's Elation mechanics. Punchline becomes Bliss, while Certified Banger becomes Party Trick, which allows compatible teammates to access improved effects and stronger damage opportunities.
Aha also gains offensive benefits during this transformation, including DEF ignore on own damage.
Elation Skill – Yes Aha At Full Moon
Aha's Elation Skill activates at the end of Aha Instant and deals 60% Quantum Elation damage to all opponents.
It then adds True DMG calculated from a portion of the non-True damage the team dealt throughout that Aha Instant. This makes the ability valuable in lineups that can concentrate substantial damage into the same window.
Talent – Work Wonders with THEM
This Talent manages Aha's Wishpower requirements and rewards the team for building Punchline. Reaching the relevant Punchline threshold (8 points) contributes another Wishpower point and provides a temporary partywide CRIT DMG buff.
Technique – ABRACADABRA!
Aha creates an area that prevents affected enemies from detecting the party. Starting combat afterward grants Aha an additional turn and immediately supplies 20 Punchline, which helps establish the team's opening sequence.
Major Aha Traces
| Trace | Main Benefit |
| A Prank on Aeons | Adds damage to Aha's Skill follow-up and restores 1 Skill Point |
| A Carnival in Whimsy | Grants Wishpower when Aha receives qualifying healing or a shield from a teammate |
| A Box of Everything | Provides substantial Elation bonuses at 125 and 150 SPD, plus an opening action advance |
A Box of Everything is important when choosing Relics. Reaching 150 SPD is a valuable early target because it unlocks the higher reported Elation bonus.
Aha Skill Priority
Talent = Elation Skill > Skill = Ultimate > Basic ATK
Prioritize Aha's Talent and Elation Skill for faster Wishpower generation, along with teamwide CRIT DMG buffs and additional Quantum Elation and True DMG. Next, upgrade the Skill for its Emanator buffs and Follow-Up damage, alongside the Ultimate for stronger attacks during Faces of Elation. Basic ATK contributes the least and can be upgraded last.

Aha Best Light Cone
Upon the First Echo of "Aha" (Best 5-Star)
Effect (S1): Increases base SPD by 12. Using a Skill on an ally grants 10 Punchline, once per turn, and lets the entire team ignore 16% of enemy DEF for the rest of combat. The DEF-ignore effect cannot stack.
This is the strongest early choice for best Aeon ★ Aha build HSR, as it combines faster turns, extra Punchline, and a lasting team damage advantage. Its base SPD bonus also helps Aha reach important Trace thresholds.
Pro Tip: Aha's signature Light Cone lifts her SPD and gives the team a DEF ignore. Top up your HSR Stellar Jade through BuffBuff so you can pull for both.
Tomorrow, Together (Best 4-Star Alternative)
Effect (S1): Grants 12% CRIT DMG. After using an Ultimate, the wearer increases all allies' Elation by 8% for one turn.
Tomorrow, Together is a solid replacement for Aha's signature. It improves personal CRIT damage while adding a temporary Elation buff that works well during Ultimate-driven damage windows.
Mushy Shroomy's Adventures (Team Damage Alternative)
Effect (S1): Increases the wearer's Elation by 12%. Using an Elation Skill makes enemies take 6% more Elation DMG for two turns.
This Aha Light Cone suits teams built around frequent Elation attacks. Its enemy debuff helps multiple teammates deal stronger Elation damage without depending on Aha's Ultimate.
Aha Best Relics
Dreamlit Actor (Best)
| 2-Piece: Increases SPD by 6%.4-Piece: Increases the Elation of an ally targeted by the wearer's Skill. With enough Certified Banger, it also grants additional teamwide CRIT DMG. |
Dreamlit Actor is the best Aha's Relic choice, as it enhances the main DPS through Emanator of Elation and supports the team's overall damage. Its SPD bonus also helps Aha reach important Trace thresholds.
Diviner of Distant Reach – Best Alternative
| 2-Piece: Increases SPD by 6%.4-Piece: Grants bonus CRIT Rate at 120/160 SPD and improves the entire team's Elation after the wearer's first Elation Skill. |
Diviner of Distant Reach suits a faster, more damage-focused HSR Aha best build. Reaching 160 SPD unlocks the maximum CRIT Rate bonus and allows Aha to take turns more frequently.
Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal – Support Alternative
| 4-Piece: Elevates the CRIT DMG of an ally struck by the wearer's Ultimate or Skill. |
Sacerdos' Relived Ordeal is a useful support option for strengthening Aha's designated DPS. Since Aha keeps targeting teammates with Skill, maintaining the CRIT DMG buff fits naturally into the rotation.
Best Aha Planar Ornaments
God's Moment of Joy (Best)
2-Piece: Grants 6% SPD and advances the wearer's first action by 40% when their Elation reaches at least 40%.
God's Moment of Joy is Aha's best Planar Ornament, as it helps act sooner and generate Wishpower faster. The SPD bonus also supports important Trace breakpoints, while the opening Action Advance allows earlier Emanator setup.
Broken Keel (Team Support Alternative)
2-Piece: Increases Effect RES by 10%. At 30% Effect RES, all allies gain 10% CRIT DMG.
Broken Keel is a practical support option for improving team damage. It trades Aha's faster opening turns for a consistent partywide CRIT DMG buff.
Sprightly Vonwacq (Rotation Alternative)
2-Piece: Provides 5% Energy Regeneration Rate and a 40% initial Action Advance when the wearer has at least 120 SPD.
Sprightly Vonwacq helps Aha take an earlier turn, but its Energy Regeneration bonus offers limited value because Ultimate uses Wishpower instead of Energy.
Aha Main Stats and Substats
Aha's HSR build prioritizes SPD and CRIT, while defensive stats help improve survivability without sacrificing much Elation damage.
| Relic Slot | Recommended Main Stat |
| Body | CRIT Rate |
| Feet | SPD |
| Planar Sphere | HP% |
| Link Rope | DEF% |
Substat Priority: SPD > CRIT Rate = CRIT DMG > HP% / DEF%
Aim for 150 SPD, as Aha's Elation bonus increases from 120% at 125 SPD to 150% at 150 SPD. Players using Diviner of Distant Reach can target 160 SPD to unlock its full CRIT Rate benefit.
Since Aha's Quantum Elation DMG follows separate scaling mechanics, stacking ATK% or conventional DMG bonuses is less effective. Focus on SPD and CRIT for performance, with HP% and DEF% providing additional durability.
Aha Best Teams
Aha is most promising in teams that already use Elation mechanics, particularly characters who generate Punchline or benefit from enhanced Aha Instants.
Aha Team 1: Premium Elation Team
This HSR Aha team focuses on maximizing Sparxie's damage through Aha's Elation buffs and Yao Guang's Aha Instant support. Pearl keeps the team alive. Aha should select Sparxie as the Emanator, which grants her 20% Elation and generates Wishpower whenever she begins her turn.
Aha Team 2: Silver Wolf LV.999 Team
Silver Wolf LV.999 replaces Sparxie as the team's main damage dealer. Aha increases her through Emanator of Elation and Faces of Elation. Yao Guang strengthens the team's Elation output. Pearl provides healing to maintain a consistent rotation.
Aha Rotation
Aha's gameplay revolves around building Wishpower and empowering the right teammate while taking advantage of Faces of Elation.
Suggested Opening Rotation:
Aha Technique → Apply Emanator with Skill → Build Wishpower through team actions → Activate Ultimate at 8 Wishpower → Use enhanced Elation attacks during Faces of Elation → Repeat
Start by selecting the teammate who benefits most from the Emanator buff. Maintain Punchline generation through the party's normal actions, and use Aha's Ultimate once the team is prepared to deal substantial damage during the enhanced Elation window.
Tip: Avoid frequent changes to the Emanator target unless your strategy requires it. Keeping the buff on a regularly acting damage dealer can make Wishpower generation more consistent.
Aha Eidolons
| Eidolon | Effect |
| E1 – Who Giggled at the Primordial Hush? | Starts battles with 4 Wishpower and increases all allies' Elation DMG by 15%. |
| E2 – Between THEIR Eyes and Yours | Strengthens the bonus effects unlocked through Elation Path ascension. |
| E3 – A Stacked Deck of Sorrow and Joy | Ultimate +2 levels, Basic ATK +1 level, and Elation Skill +1 level. |
| E4 – A Joke's Fate Boxed in Black | Increases Elation Skill True DMG scaling by 25% of its original multiplier and counts an additional 100% of allies' accumulated Certified Banger stacks when Aha deals Elation DMG. |
| E5 – Moi Onstage and Me Offstage | Skill +2 levels, Talent +2 levels, and Elation Skill +1 level. |
| E6 – For THEY Said: You Are Elation | Maintains a minimum Elation Debt equal to 20% of enemy Max HP. Aha's first Ultimate grants an extra turn with 40 Punchline, while later Ultimates advance THEIR action by 20%. |
E1 is a valuable early upgrade for faster Ultimate access and stronger team damage. E2 further improves Elation synergy, while E6 offers the biggest boost to Aha's turn economy and offensive potential.
Is Aha Worth Pulling?
Aha looks valuable for players already investing in Elation characters. The ability to upgrade Elation mechanics, along with improving Aha Instant and providing additional team damage, gives characters such as Sparxie, Silver Wolf LV.999, and Elation Trailblazer new opportunities to perform. If Elation is one of your main teams, Aha is a promising addition.
For accounts that rarely use Elation characters, the decision is less straightforward. Much of Aha's value depends on character-specific interactions, and some stronger effects are tied to Eidolons. Waiting for live testing is reasonable before spending Stellar Jades on a signature Light Cone or additional copies.
Conclusion
Aha shifts how Elation teams build their rotations. Her Wishpower loop, SPD breakpoints, and Faces of Elation window reward careful planning. Chase 125 SPD first, then 150, and pair her with the signature Light Cone if you can. Dreamlit Actor with God's Moment of Joy makes a clean starting setup. Top up your HSR Stellar Jade through BuffBuff at the best rates and have your pulls ready for her banner.
