Wuthering Waves 3.3 New Characters
Phase 1: Hiyuki
Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Role: meta Glacio DPS
According to the official document, Hiyuki hails from Ashinohara, the Miko of Flaming Sakura, and now remains in Lahai-Roi as the last and only member of the Special Response Force.
Since her release, she has received a lot of positive feedback from players on Reddit. Players claimed that she is a very satisfying art and gameplay.
Players assess that she's the best main DPS since Augusta and Galbrena, and you can feel the freedom in this character.
Players are able to roam around in Ult form endlessly. Even without using the Ult, Hiyuki can still just roam in white form and use basic attack (IAI). None of the characters had this many satisfying basic attack animations that actually deal damage for open-world quests and bosses. It's chilling and super satisfying.
What's more, players especially love how smooth dash canceling BA3 feels in Ult, how you can stack IAI with double Skill between fights, and how you can save up for a big 3-stack Ult by not charging it on the first rotation.
The character feels complete even without a full team. While players usually want a full team rotation for optimal power, Hiyuki and Augusta are great choices to just stay on past their normal field time during exploration, roguelike, and farming.

Hiyuki Skills Priority:
Liberation > Forte > Normal Attack > Skill > Intro
Best Team (Current Consensus):
Premium: Hiyuki (Main DPS) + Lynae + Chisa — Highest damage output, Chisa greatly accelerates Chafe's mechanics, Lynae provides buffs.
Alternatives: Hiyuki + Lynae + Shorekeeper (More stable, healing-oriented) or replace with other support characters.
Phase 2: Denia
Rarity: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Role: Fusion sub-DPS/buffer
According to the official document, Denia is a Department of Voidmatters student at Startorch Academy. Also, a professional slacker who has mastered the art of dozing through courses. Still, she hardly misses any campus event, always there to flash her "gentle" smile to one and all.
Denia's main kit revolves around switching between her normal form and her enhanced form using her liberation.
Her gameplay loop starts with her in normal mode, where she can perform her skill and basic attacks to gain something called a void particle. Then you perform her resonance liberation, which costs energy, and enter her enhanced form.
In enhanced form, she gains multiple buffs, such as increased attack, and this is where she does most of her damage. This lasts for 12 seconds. In this form, she gains something called conformal charge, which she gains by doing normal attacks.
Once you have 100 points, she can use her second liberation. After this, she will consume all the conformal charge she gained during this stage and also the void particle she gained during her normal stage to create a field called the erosion field.
This is one of the coolest parts of her kit, as this field will pull enemies together for 4 seconds and deal fusion damage that counts as liberation damage.

Denia Skills Priority:
Liberation > Forte > Normal Attack > Skill > Intro
Best Team Compositions (Current Consensus):
Premium Fusion Burst: Aemeath (Main DPS) + Denia + Chisa — Highest synergy, Denia provides significant amps and grouping.
Tune Strain: Luuk / Lynae + Denia + Mornye — Strong sustained stacking and break.
