PUBG Mobile Vehicles: Complete Guide and Strategy
2026-05-22

Vehicles in PUBG Mobile are not just for driving around. The right car can get you away from the blue zone, help you cross a dangerous field, or save you when a fight starts going wrong. Good players do not just take the first vehicle they see. They think about the zone, the road, and whether that vehicle will actually help them stay alive.
In this guide, we will go through the basic PUBG Mobile vehicles with their corresponding maps: Sedan, Truck, Buggy, UAZ, Motorcycle, Boats, and Other. And then we will provide you with the long-term vehicle-using strategy that can separate the winners!

Vehicle Using Strategy
During Combat
Drive-by Shooting
Drive-by shooting is fun, but don’t overtrust it. If you’re in a Dacia, let the passengers shoot while the driver just keeps the car alive. Don’t drive straight at a squad unless you want the whole car sprayed down. Turn a little, speed up, slow down, and make yourself annoying to hit. It’s more for messing with enemies than winning a clean gunfight.
Vehicle as Cover
If you get caught in the open, your car might be the only cover you have. Don’t just keep driving while the whole squad is spraying you. Stop, get out, and play around the vehicle for a second. A UAZ or Minibus works better because it can tank more shots. But once it starts smoking, don’t stay glued to it. Back off before it blows. Even the wreck can still help later, especially in those ugly final circles with no trees or rocks around.
Aggressive Pushing
Vehicles are useful for fast compound pushes or sudden pressure plays. A squad can use a durable vehicle to close distance quickly, block entrances, or force enemies to reposition. Parking a vehicle near a doorway or gate can make it harder for opponents to escape or rush out. However, this only works when the team is coordinated. The driver needs to choose a safe angle, while teammates prepare smoke grenades and cover fire before getting out.
Team Coordination
Vehicle fights are a lot easier when everyone knows their job. The driver should focus on the road and where to stop, while the others watch for enemies and shoot when there is a clear angle. If people are shouting different calls or jumping out at random, the whole push can fall apart fast. A good squad uses the vehicle to take space and create pressure, not just to drive into a fight and hope it works.
Sound and Misdirection
Vehicle noise can work both ways. It gives you away, but it can also pull attention. Sometimes I’d rather let the car make noise on one side while the squad slips in from another. The BRDM-2 does this pretty well too, since most players hear it coming and start backing off. But in the last few circles, driving around is usually a bad idea. Everyone can hear you, and you are basically telling them where to aim. Better to get out early and walk in.
During Escaping
Choose the Right Escape Transport
Not every vehicle is good for getting out of trouble. If you are playing solo, a motorcycle is usually the easiest way to create distance fast. For squads, the UAZ is a safer choice because it can take more damage and gives the team better protection. If the escape route goes through rough ground, rocks, fences, or hills, the Monster Truck can be a better option since normal cars may get stuck at the worst possible moment.
Use Terrain to Break Line of Sight
When you are escaping, speed alone is not always enough. If you drive straight through an open field, enemies can keep spraying your vehicle until it breaks. Try to cut behind hills, rocks, trees, or buildings whenever possible. The moment they lose sight of you, the chase becomes much harder for them, and your team gets more room to rotate safely.
Disable Enemy Chase
If enemies are trying to chase you, shooting their tires or damaging their vehicle can slow them down. This is especially useful when your team is retreating from a fight and needs to stop another squad from following. Even a few seconds of delay can help you reach cover or enter the safe zone.
Know When to Abandon the Vehicle
Once your vehicle starts smoking, it is basically a warning sign. Don’t wait until it catches fire right beside you. Jump out, use the car for a bit of cover if you have to, then move away before it explodes. In the late game, I would usually ditch the vehicle earlier anyway, because the engine sound tells everyone exactly where you are.
Conclusion
Cars can save you in PUBG Mobile, but they can also sell you out. A UAZ is nice when you are stuck in the open, and a motorcycle is great when you just need to leave fast. But if the car is smoking or the circle is tiny, don’t force it. Get out, move away, and stop letting the engine tell everyone where you are.
Vehicles can change a match pretty quickly if you use them well. Before you drop in again, think about how you’ll rotate, where you might need cover, and when it’s better to drive away instead of taking the fight. So, before your next match, make sure you are ready for every push, rotation, and escape. And if you need more UC, you can top up your PUBG Mobile account through BuffBuff and keep your game fully prepared.
