Chisa Character Overview
| Information | |
| Rarity:5★ | |
| Element:Havoc | |
| Weapon:Broadblade | |
| Primary roles:Support, Sustain, Sub-DPS | |
| Main damage type:Resonance Liberation DMG | |
| Best teams:Negative Status teams | |
| Signature weapon:Kumokiri |
Despite wielding a transforming weapon that switches between oversized scissors and a scary chainsaw, Chisa is not designed as a Main DPS. Her strongest role is as a hybrid Support, Sustain and Sub-DPS for teams built around Negative Status effects.
Chisa Kit Breakdown
Chisa specializes in improving teams that rely on Negative Statuses such as
| Aero Erosion | |
| Spectro Frazzle | |
| Glacio Chafe | |
| Havoc Bane |
Chisa’s Outro Skill increases the maximum number of Negative Status and Electro Rage stacks that enemies can receive by three, lasting 15s. It also allows Negative Status applications and damage to ignore 18% of the enemy’s DEF for 15s.This provides a significant boost to all other DoT units.
Chisa’s Resonance Liberation restores HP for all nearby Resonators and activates an enhanced state that significantly improves her Chainsaw Mode attacks. Her Sawring - Eradication finisher also provides the entire team with a shield.
This combination allows Chisa to cover healing, shielding, enemy debuffs and secondary damage within a single team slot.
Chisa Skill Priority
Chisa’s Inherent Skills should be unlocked as soon as possible. For abilities that require individual level upgrades, use the following priority:
Forte Circuit > Resonance Liberation > Basic Attack > Resonance Skill > Intro Skill
The majority of Chisa’s personal damage comes from her Forte Circuit and Resonance Liberation-type attacks. Players with limited resources should maximize these two abilities first.
Basic Attack remains useful because several attacks in Chisa’s standard combo are classified as Resonance Liberation DMG. Resonance Skill and Intro Skill can be upgraded last.
Rotation Explained
A practical Chisa rotation is:
Intro Skill → Resonance Skill → Basic Attack combo → Death Snip → Resonance Liberation → Serrated Loop → Hold Basic Attack → Sawring - Eradication → Outro Skill
- Enter through Chisa’s Intro Skill to gain Ring of Chainsaw points.(20 points)
- Cast Resonance Skill to apply Unseen Snare and generate additional Forte energy.
- Continue the Basic Attack sequence through Rending Lunge, Death Snip and Thread Withdrawn.
- Death Snip restores HP for all nearby team members.
- Cast Resonance Liberation to heal the team, gain more Forte energy and activate Chisa’s enhanced state.
- Once the Forte gauge is full, cast the enhanced Resonance Skill, Serrated Loop, to enter Chainsaw Mode.
- Hold Basic Attack to perform the Sawring - Blitz chain until the Forte gauge is depleted.
- Finish with Sawring - Eradication, dealing Chisa’s largest instance of damage and granting a team shield.
- Switch characters with a full Concerto gauge to activate Chisa’s Outro buff.
Tips: Chisa should ideally leave the field through her Outro Skill. Swapping too early causes the next character to lose her most important Negative Status support.
Chisa Best Weapons
| Rank | Weapon | Why It Works |
| Best in slot | Kumokiri | Provides CRIT Rate, ATK, Resonance Liberation DMG and a teamwide All-Attribute DMG Bonus |
| Excellent | Wildfire Mark | High base ATK and CRIT DMG with a strong Resonance Liberation bonus |
| Excellent | Ages of Harvest | Provides CRIT Rate and reduces pressure on Echo sub-stats |
| Reliable | Lustrous Razor | Offers ATK, Energy Regen and stackable Resonance Liberation DMG |
| Best 4-star options | Aureate Zenith / Autumntrace | Accessible CRIT weapons that work with Chisa’s normal rotation |
| Other alternatives | Meditations on Mercy / Helios Cleaver | Usable ATK-focused options for players without premium Broadblades |
Kumokiri
Kumokiri is Chisa’s signature weapon and her best overall option.
ATK: 500 | CRIT Rate: 36.0% (Max Lv. 90)
| Thread of Fate |
| ATK is increased by 24%. When the wielder casts Intro Skill or inflicts Negative Statuses, they gain 16% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus, stacking up to 3 times for 15s.At max stacks, when Resonators in the team inflict Negative Statuses, they gain 48% All-Attribute DMG Bonus for 15s. Effects of the same name cannot be stacked. |
At Level 90, it provides:
- 500 Base ATK
- 36% CRIT Rate
- 12% ATK at Rank 1
- Up to 24% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus
- 24% All-Attribute DMG Bonus after reaching maximum passive stacks
Chisa can activate the passive naturally through her Intro Skill and Negative Status application. Unlike many alternative Broadblades, Kumokiri improves both her personal damage and the damage of her teammates.
Wildfire Mark
Why:Wildfire Mark provides 588 Base ATK and 48.6% CRIT DMG. Its Resonance Liberation bonus is useful for Chisa, although its teamwide Fusion DMG effect only reaches full value in Fusion-oriented teams.
Ages of Harvest
Why:Ages of Harvest provides 588 Base ATK and 24.3% CRIT Rate. The CRIT Rate is valuable, but part of its passive focuses on Resonance Skill DMG rather than Chisa’s preferred Resonance Liberation damage.
Lustrous Razor
Why:Lustrous Razor is the most accessible 5-star alternative, with 588 ATK and 25.6% Energy Regen. It provides ATK, Energy Regen and up to three stacks of Resonance Liberation DMG after using Resonance Skills. It is especially helpful when Chisa cannot reach a comfortable Liberation rotation.

Chisa Best Echo Sets
Damage-Focused Build
| Echo Setup | |
| 43311 | |
| Echo Set Effects | |
| 3-Pc: Inflicting Havoc Bane increases the Resonator's ATK by 20% and grants 30% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus for 5s. | |
| 2-Pc: Havoc DMG + 10%. | |
| Main Echo | |
| Summon a Collapsing Horizon, dealing two instances of 131.04% Havoc DMG to the nearby enemies and obtaining the Core of Collapse for 15s.While it lasts, Core of Collapse deals 24.57% Havoc DMG when the active Resonator in the team deals damage. This effect can be triggered once every 0.5s, up to 8 times. Enemies with Havoc Bane take 100% more DMG from this effect. The Resonator with this Echo equipped in the main slot gains 12.00% Havoc DMG Bonus and 12.00% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus.CD: 25s | |
Thread of Severed Fate is Chisa’s best personal-damage set. Inflicting Havoc Bane increases her ATK by 20% and grants a 30% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus.
Reminiscence: Threnodian - Leviathan is the preferred Main Echo because it provides 12% Havoc DMG Bonus and 12% Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus. Its additional attacks also deal increased damage against enemies affected by Havoc Bane.
Support and Healer Build
| Echo Cost | |
| 43311 | |
| Echo Set Effects | |
| 2-Pc: Healing Bonus +10%.5-Pc:Increases the ATK of all party members by 15% for 30s upon healing allies. | |
| Main Echo | |
| Activate the Echo Skill to summon a fraction of the Fallacy of No Return's power and deal a blast to the surrounding area, inflicting Spectro DMG equal to 15.86% of max HP, after which the Resonator gains 10% bonus Energy Regen and all team members 10% bonus ATK for 20s.Hold Echo Skill to unleash a series of flurry assaults at the cost of STA, each dealing Spectro DMG equal to 1.58% of max HP; Release to end the assail in a powerful blow, dealing Spectro DMG equal to 19.82% of max HP.CD: 20s | |
| Activate the protection of Bell-Borne Geochelone. Deal Glacio DMG based on 145.92% of the current character's DEF to nearby enemies, and obtain a Bell-Borne Shield that lasts for 15s.The Bell-Borne Shield provides 50.00% DMG Reduction and 10.00% DMG Boost for the current team members, and disappears after the current character is hit for 3 times. | |
Rejuvenating Glow is recommended when Chisa acts as the team’s primary sustain. Because she can heal consistently through Death Snip and Resonance Liberation, she can easily trigger the set’s 15% teamwide ATK buff.
Fallacy of No Return provides Energy Regen and another teamwide ATK bonus. Bell-Borne Geochelone is an alternative for encounters where additional damage reduction is more important.
Best Echo Main Stats
| Echo Cost | Damage Build | Support Build |
| 4 Cost | CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG | Healing Bonus, CRIT Rate or CRIT DMG |
| 3 Cost | Havoc DMG + ATK | ATK + ATK or Havoc DMG + ATK |
| 1 Cost | ATK% | ATK% |
Double ATK 3-Cost Echoes perform relatively close to a Havoc DMG and ATK combination while also improving Chisa’s healing and shielding. They are a strong choice for a sustain-focused build.
Sub-Stat Priority
CRIT Rate / CRIT DMG > Energy Regen > ATK% > Resonance Liberation DMG Bonus > Flat ATK
Players using Chisa purely as a support can prioritize Energy Regen and ATK before chasing perfect CRIT sub-stats.
Recommended Endgame Stats
| Stat | Recommended Target |
| CRIT Rate | 80%–90% |
| CRIT DMG | 255%–285% |
| Energy Regen | 125%–130% |
| ATK | As high as possible after meeting ER and CRIT requirements |
These are high-investment targets rather than mandatory requirements. Maintaining a reliable Resonance Liberation rotation is more important than forcing a perfect CRIT ratio.
Chisa Best Team Compositions
Aero Erosion Team
| Cartethyia | Ciaccona | Chisa |
Chisa is an excellent sustain option for Cartethyia teams. She raises the maximum Aero Erosion stack limit while providing healing, shielding and enemy DEF manipulation.
This is particularly valuable for lower-Sequence Cartethyia, who benefits greatly from being able to maintain additional Aero Erosion stacks.
Spectro Frazzle Team
| Zani | Phoebe | Chisa |
Phoebe applies and amplifies Spectro Frazzle, while Zani converts the team’s setup into heavy damage. Chisa replaces the conventional healer and adds Negative Status stack capacity, DEF ignore and personal Havoc damage.
A more accessible alternative is:
| Rover: Spectro | Chisa | Verina |
This team has a lower damage ceiling but gives new players an affordable way to use Chisa’s Negative Status mechanics.
Fusion Burst Team
| Aemeath | Denia | Chisa |
Denia provides Fusion Burst application, crowd control and off-field damage. Aemeath acts as the Main DPS, while Chisa increases the status stack limit and handles team sustain.
This composition performs especially well in multi-target content while retaining strong single-target damage.
Glacio Chafe Team
| Hiyuki | Lucilla | Chisa |
Chisa provides an additional Negative Status type, increased stack capacity and reliable sustain. Her Havoc Bane application also helps Hiyuki activate more of her status-related bonuses.
This team became one of Chisa’s stronger options after additional Glacio Chafe characters were introduced.
Havoc Bane Team
| Yangyang: Xuanling | Suisui | Chisa |
In later versions, Chisa gained a dedicated Havoc Bane team. Her ability to raise the maximum Negative Status stack limit is important for activating Yangyang: Xuanling’s full kit, while Suisui contributes additional Havoc Bane support and team buffs.
Chisa Resonance Chain Recommendations
S0: Her core healing, shielding and Negative Status support are already complete.
S1: Improves interruption resistance and field stability.
S2: Provides a powerful All-Attribute DMG Bonus and is her best value stopping point.
S3: Significantly improves Chisa’s personal damage.
S6: Enhances damage, survivability and team support, but requires heavy investment.
Pulling Priority
S0R0 is functional → S0R1 offers the most complete upgrade → S2R1 is the high-investment value point → S6R1 or S6R5 is for dedicated Chisa players
For most accounts, obtaining Kumokiri before pursuing multiple Resonance Chains provides the more balanced improvement.
