New Characters in Genshin 6.2 (Luna III)

    Durin

Durin Genshin 6.2 is a 5★ Pyro sword character who works as a DPS but also elevates his team's damage. His kit changes depending on how you use his Skill.

When Durin uses his Elemental Skill, he gets a special effect called Essential Transmutation. After this, pressing his Skill again puts him into the Purity style, while using Normal Attacks switches him into the Darkness style. Each style changes his Burst and gives different bonuses.

    Purity Style (Principle of Purity)

This version of his Burst hits enemies with three Pyro strikes and summons a White Flame Dragon that follows you and deals AoE Pyro damage over time. If your team triggers reactions like Pyro Crystallize, Pyro Swirl, Overloaded, or Burning, the enemy's Pyro RES (and the RES of the element used in the reaction) drops, which helps your whole team deal more damage.

    Darkness Style (Principle of Darkness)

This Burst also deals three Pyro hits but summons a Dark Decay Dragon that focuses on single-target Pyro attacks. Durin's Vaporize and Melt multipliers get a big boost, which makes him strong for reaction-based teams.

    Jahoda

Jahoda Genshin 6.2 is a 4★ Anemo bow character who focuses on healing. When she uses her Elemental Burst, she calls out two little Helper Coordinators that stay on the field and continuously heal your team. If a character gets healed past 70% HP, they also receive a 100 Elemental Mastery boost for 6 seconds.

New Weapons in Genshin 6.2 (Luna III)

Other than new characters and reruns, some of the new weapons that are coming in Genshin 6.2 Luna III include:

    Athame Artis (5★)

    Base ATK: 608 / +33.1% CRIT Rate

Weapon Effect: Elemental Bursts gain 16–32% extra CRIT DMG. Hitting an enemy with a Burst grants Blade of the Daylight Hours, which increases the user's ATK by 20–40% and nearby teammates' ATK by 16–32% for 3 seconds.

If your party has Hexerei: Secret Rite, this ATK buff becomes 75% stronger, and it still works even when the character is off-field.

    The Daybreak Chronicles (5★)

    Base ATK: 674 / +44.1% CRIT Rate

Weapon Effect: The character gains Stirring Dawn Breeze after leaving combat. This increases Normal Attack and Elemental Skill, along with Burst DMG by 60–120%. This bonus drops to 0% in a gradual way while in combat, but hitting enemies restores it by 10–20% per hit, up to the max value. This effect works for each attack type separately, triggers every 0.1s, and still applies off-field.

With Hexerei: Secret Rite, each hit increases all DMG types by 20–40% instead.

As a researcher of miHoYo series games, I mainly focus on character development and mechanism analysis of Genshin Impact, Zenless Zone Zero, and Honkai: Star Rail. In Genshin Impact, I strive to calculate the benefits of artifact main and sub-stats, damage thresholds of elemental reactions, and team rotation rhythms. In Zenless Zone Zero, I try to dissect the N.E.C.F. system and character combo chains to optimize mission completion efficiency. In Honkai: Star Rail, I focus on Light Cone matching, weakness counter chains, and Memory of Chaos clearance ideas. Instead of just staying with simple tier lists, I hope to provide more practical character development references through data modeling, helping to allocate cultivation resources reasonably.
