eFootball is gearing up for the v4.0.0 Season Update and we have a lot in store when it comes to the new update. KONAMI will be looking to make this update more colorful and vibrant, with many added features, and with that said, let’s see what new features await us in this latest season of football entertainment.
eFootball 4.0.0 Update Coming Sep 12
The new season anticipation is finally over as KONAMI's eFootball announces the forthcoming edition of the game. September unveils eFootball 's Season Update to v4.0.0, introducing a series of ample adjustments and upgrades.
eFootball to Be Renamed in Mid-September
The update might render some players and managers inaccessible due to changes in licenses and included content. These unavailable members will be unable to participate in matches, but their release can still gain you GP and items. The v4.2.0 update scheduled for Winter 2024, will alter the status of these to-be-unavailable players and managers.
Post v4.0.0 update, within the game, you can determine which players and managers will become unavailable. I will soon provide you with a guide to assist you with this transition. Furthermore, it's essential to note that the v4.0.0 update will reset My League progress and points.
Weather options
Weather options will now be available on mobile. Mobile gamers will be able to enjoy a more immersive game as weather options such as rain and snow have been added. Furthermore, they can be applied in multiple modes including MyLeague, Exhibition, and matches against friends as well so you can play many matches through different weather scenarios.
New game features
The eFootball 4.0.0 update will introduce two exciting gameplay features. The first is the return of the Finesse Dribble control, which will allow you to enjoy more tactical battles between attack and defense. With improved usability, this control provides greater flexibility to trick your opponents and execute precise dribbles.
Additionally, improvements to the Physical Contact stat will further enhance the realistic feel of physical encounters. In situations where there is contact between attackers and defenders, the player with the highest Physical Contact stat will now have the advantage, meaning you won't have to worry about smaller, physically weaker players bullying your stronger center-backs.
Smart Attendance Control
In addition, Smart Assist, a new type of control, will be available as a trial version. This feature will automate key actions such as shot power and dribbling direction, making it easier to manage complex game moments, especially for beginners.
From test match to exhibition
When you log into the game after the update to version 4.0.0, you will see that the Test Match mode has been renamed Exhibition, allowing you to play with all available clubs and national teams. You will also be able to customise various match settings such as the level and match time, just like you could do in the friendly matches.
New packs
As with every season, we'll also be able to sign some of the best players, with Lionel Messi and Neymar Jr. It will be available in Standard and Deluxe versions, with featured players and in-game training items. Details of the pack are detailed below.
