The PUBG Mobile 3.7 update coincides with the 7th anniversary of the game, so players can expect additional events dedicated to this occasion. It is already known that the theme of Version 3.7 will be related to the desert. This was officially announced back in December 2024.
The released teaser hints that the thematic mode will somehow play around with the time travel mechanic or the ability to be in different time periods and observe changes in the environment.
It is also already known that in the PUBG Mobile 3.7 update, a new Rondo map will be available, which will have the largest land area and its own unique mechanics.
Rondo is a huge 8x8 kilometer map, similar to Miramar. It combines traditional buildings with a modern urban environment in the form of Jade City, a city with skyscrapers located in the southeast of the island.
The main features of Rondo in PUBG on PC are:
- Two airplanes at the start of the game, allowing players to distribute more evenly across the map.
- An electro-magnetic zone that disables electronic devices within range. Scopes, tactical gear, and even vehicles stop functioning.

Regarding the release date of the PUBG Mobile 3.7 update, it is expected to be released on Android and iOS around March 6 - 9, 2025. The developers will announce the exact date at the end of February.
