PUBG Mobile 3.6 release date

According to preliminary information, the global update of PUBG Mobile 3.6 will be released on January 9. One day before that - on January 8, version 3.6 will be released on Android in Vietnam, after which we will publish the installation file in our Telegram channel. So you will be able to start playing on Android one day earlier than the global version.

After the decent 3.5 version update of PUBG Mobile, which mainly focused on the holiday spirit and Christmassy vibe, Tencent has already released the 3.6 beta version. In this version, we will see many new contents as well as a new classic game mode that is based on Japanese culture and themes.

The 3.6 version update will mostly prepare players for the upcoming RONDO Map in the 3.7-anniversary update. The new beta version is already available to download. Here’s a detailed look at what’s coming.

Introducing New Live Vehicles and Powers

Nowadays it has become a tradition for PUBG Mobile to introduce at least one live vehicle in each version update. This time, it is the Panda. We can use this cute animal to traverse around the battlegrounds. The main attraction of this mode is the new themed mode Sacred Quartet. This mode is based on Asian and Japanese cultures and traditions.

The buildings’ structures, color schemes, and scenery are taken straight from a Japanese story. Unlike previous themed modes, this new mode will not have a final boss to fight. This update also introduces the four magical powers. We will choose one of these four powers from Spawn Island. Each of these powers possesses unique powers that will give us an upper hand in the fights if we use them correctly. These powers are called:

Hot: This power provides us with a special damage increment ability and allows us to throw fiery projectiles.
Water: This power allows us to create a temporary water shield to get cover from enemy attacks.
Wind Boost: We can use this power to fly at a high speed using winds.
Nature’s Touch: Nature’s touch transforms our player character into a deer and it can travel for a limited time. After reaching a suitable position, we can teleport to that deer’s location.

Brand new Sacred Quartet mode

The version 3.6 update of PUBG Mobile will offer an exciting themed mode of gameplay to make way for the debut of the RONDO map in the 3.7 version update. Since this new mode is partially based on Japanese architecture, the main theme location of this mode and other items will also have a Japanese influence. After a long time, we will finally have Nimbus islands.

The Sacred Quartet mode will offer the Nimbus Islands which will float in the sky. There will be many hidden rooms and magical crates where you will get a lot of loot. Different loot locations and Asian-themed event locations will also be there. We will update this article once we get more information about the additions.

Classic Gameplay enhancements

The 3.6 Beta also brings several enhancements to the classic gameplay:

Auto-Driving: In this mode, we will have the auto-driving feature. Enabling it, we can switch seats while driving and fire at enemies.

Car Drifting: One of the most exciting features of this 3.6 version update is the car drift option. We can click and hold the brake and steering of any car at the same time to perform the drift. It will be very efficient while fleeing from enemies and racing with teammates.

Visual and Sound enhancements

The visual and sound effects in the 3.6 Beta have been upgraded to match the new features. The Japanese temples, detailed animations like gun reloading and driving, and character transformations contribute to a more immersive and intense gameplay experience. However, as this is a beta release, some stages may still lack complete sound effects, which are expected to be refined in the final version.
