A Roblox game called Grow a Garden has reached an all-time high in active players just a few months after its release. This game is part of the thousands of titles available in the Roblox catalog that players can access.
Since its launch in 2006, Roblox has released many games that have become hits. One of them is Blox Fruits, an MMORPG inspired by One Piece in which players go on quests, explore the world, and gain combat skills when they collect Blox Fruits. For users who prefer The Sims-style experience, the option is Brookhaven RP, a real-life simulator in which players can buy houses and cars, and even have a profession. But while Roblox has games that have been available for years, it was a relatively new title that reached an impressive milestone.
On the Roblox subreddit, user Orzoos shared a post showing that the game Grow a Garden was the first on the platform to reach three million active players. In the comments section, they add that the popular Roblox game reached five million people playing at the same time on May 17. The title has been such a success that, according to the OP, after registering these numbers, the game crashed Roblox for some players. Grow a Garden now has more than 1.5 billion visits, more than 900,000 favorites, and a 94% user approval rating. It is also featured in the tabs for featured, most popular, most playable, and most profitable games.
Grow a Garden is the New Hit Among Roblox Players
Launched in March 2025 by The Garden Game, Grow a Garden is a simulation game. With no age restriction, in Grow a Garden players create the garden of their dreams by buying crop seeds such as bamboo, peppers, carrots, and mushrooms to grow them to harvest, sell, and even gift to other players. The money earned can be used to buy more seeds, equipment, and pets with passive abilities that help players to improve their gardens. Lucky players can also obtain rare crops and seeds through events and mutations.
Although launched 19 years ago, Roblox continues to rack up incredible numbers. In March of this year, the platform registered more accounts than the human population. To keep so many players engaged, new experiences beyond Grow a Garden continue to be released, such as the title inspired by the popular TV show Hell's Kitchen, the zombie adventure Dead Rails, and even a Roblox game that gave away free burritos.
