How rewards are being rebalanced with Masteries Removal
It’s being removed due to low engagement, as only 11.8% of players earned the Brawler Title since its launch. Most of the rewards will be rebalanced across the new Trophy Road and Record feature.
Out of the total Mastery Rewards, a huge amount of Coins and Power Points carry over directly. At the same time, Credits will be redistributed through Legendary Starr Drops, new Brawler unlocks, and quests.
Resources | Total Mastery Rewards | Moving to New Trophy Road is (Raw Resources) | Moving to New Trophy Road (Starr Drops and Brawlers) | Moving to Records (Starr Drops) | Resources Remaining |
---|---|---|---|---|---|
Coins | 230500 | 100400 | 58514 | 80354 | -8778 (Overall Coin Buff) |
Power Points | 34500 | 10800 | 697 | 2587 | 20416 (Big Power Points Nerf) |
Credits | 24225 | 0 | 13115 | 16606 | -6642 (Small Credit Buff) |
That said, you can look forward to more Coins being added to boost F2P value, while Power Points will be cut back to reduce the excess amount for veteran players. Credits are also getting a slight increase, and Blings will now be added to the mix, mostly through Starr Drops.
Brawl Stars is revamping the Trophy Road
As you know, trophies have been a big part of the game, and the Trophy Road helps guide your progress. However, the devs feel the current design is a bit stale right now, and that is why they’re revamping it with new visuals and better progression to make your journey more rewarding and fun.
As a longtime player, I’m looking forward to the new update, especially with the boosted rewards, more Bling, and new milestones that go all the way up to 100k Trophies. Moreover, you can earn some of the resources twice, through this event and from the milestones in the new Trophy Road.
Brawl Stars is adding a new feature called Records in the new update
On top of all the rewards and revamps, Brawl Stars is adding Records, which is a new achievement-like system that rewards you for grinding or pulling off cool plays, like winning a 1v3 in Knockout, or hitting all 3 enemy Brawlers at the same time with Mortis’ attack.
While it’s not focused on progression rewards, you can still earn plenty of Starr Drops from it. You can think of it like the achievement section in other titles. By completing enough Records, you’ll collect Record Points, which reward you with special Battle Card Frames.
