Brawl Arena is an exciting new way to play Brawl Stars. Available during the Crush the Kaiju season, this game mode has all the trimmings you'd come to expect in a MOBA – bot armies, jungling, level progression, enemy towers, and chaotic action.
It has also been tailored to meet the short yet fast-paced nature of Brawl Stars. Matches will last approximately five minutes, rather than the nearly hour-long lengths of a regular MOBA match.
This game mode is certainly a step up from the normal game modes players have come to experience in the past, as it requires more skill and strategy. Regardless, it promises to be a fun experience that will test each player's abilities.
How to Play the Brawl Arena Mode in Brawl Stars
Brawl Arena is a 3v3 game mode, where the first team to destroy the enemy's base wins the match.
In the Arena, there are two lanes (one on each side of the map) connecting to each team's base. Each lane is protected by a single Tower. These Towers are capable of attacking and will do so when any enemy, be it Bots or Brawlers, gets within range.
Each base will spawn a small army of Bots that will walk down these lanes and auto-attack any enemy or building in their path.
Brawl Arena has a jungle area placed at the center of the Arena. They house neutral enemies that will attack anyone nearby, but they can be killed for Arena XP.
The first spawn for the jungle area is 1 bot, 2 bots will spawn after this is cleared, and later 4 bots will spawn after that wave is cleared. Finally, after the 4-bot wave in the jungle is eliminated, a massive Kaiju will appear in the middle of the Arena. The team that defeats it will earn a large amount of XP, temporary movement speed, and a damage reduction buff.
How to Get Arena XP in Brawl Arena
There is an in-game power leveling system in Brawl Arena. Each level will grant you different stats based on the Brawler you have chosen. You will start each match at Arena Level 0 and can upgrade to a maximum of Arena Level 15.
To level up, you'll need to collect Arena XP. This can be done by:
- Defeating enemy bots
- Eliminating neutral enemies in the jungle
- Slaying the Kaiju at the center of the Arena
- Staying close to allies when they get takedowns
The faster you level up, the more powerful you become on the battlefield. This is essential if you want to gain an advantage over your opponents, who will also be trying their best to overpower you.
